Lt. Cdr Bijay Nair (retd), 43, a passionate runner; is a commissioned Naval Officer from Naval Academy and served 10 years relinquishing as LtCdr, with many medals and accolades. Have been part of Operation Talwaar since 1999 (famously known as the Kargil war) and is decorated with Ops Vijay Star and Vijay Medal.
In 2003 and 2004, he was awarded a commendation by Flag officer western Naval command, and in 2006, he was awarded the prestigious Chief of Naval Staff commendation.
Currently, as Associate Vice President, he works for the National Ship Classification Society in their Promoted Organisation and Heads Quality, Compliance and Audits. He is an Engineer PG in Marine Specialization and Weapon Controls from the Navy and an MBA from JBIMS.
He is a blogger and writer with humour as his forte. He is the author of one of the best sellers titled #TheyInspire, which has sold close to 3000 copies. It is one of the best inspirational books in the collection of stories of ordinary people.
